Bring authentic mid-century texture and drama into your space with this original
modernist oil on canvas painting by the highly collectible studio hand, Heston.

Executed in a confident, gestural style, the composition explores raw botanical forms,
capturing the explosive energy of seed pods, thistles, and organic natural structures.
The painting utilizes a highly desirable, earthy atomic-era palette dominated by rich olive
and forest greens, warm mustard, deep umber, and structural white strokes. Thick impasto
layers and directional sgraffito/scratching into the paint provide incredible physical
depth and tactile interest under gallery lighting.

The work features the signature "Heston" painted on the front face, with a corresponding
cursive graphite inscription on the raw canvas reverse. It comes housed in its original,
architectural gray-stained wood channel frame, ensuring it is ready to seamlessly anchor a
modernist sideboard display or gallery wall.
