This large abstract mixed media brushed ink on rice paper collage is by NW artist Marilyn Bergstrom. The artist attended the University of Washington and earned her MFA in painting in 1980. Her work incorporates the traditional simplicity and serenity of Japan, and the excitement and diversity of the colorful Southwest.

Ms.Bergstrom is affiliated with the Women Painters of Washington and her work can be found in many private and corporate collections.
