This antique Chinese wooden screen is hand painted and gilded wood. Standing at 54.5" high - this screen would be perfect hung flat above a sofa or fireplace. Or mounted on the wall as a hanging headboard. In addition - it is beyond striking when displayed atop a console table in a hall or dining room. Decorated with four scenes of courtship and marriage (top front panels) along with four bird vignettes (bottom from panels). Four painted chinese characters on reverse outline the order the panels are to be displayed.

Full screen measurements when fully extended are 60" x 54.5" high x 1.25" deep.
Each screen panel measures 15" wide.
