This is an antique-style Chinoiserie accent mirror incorporating traditional East Asian design motifs with a distinct European flair. The frame displays a beautiful example of Chinoiserie which are Western artisitic styles that imitate Chinese and East Asian lacquer work and aesthetics. The inner frame features hand-painted naturalistic imagery. The size of this piece is 23.5" square and 1.5" deep. Made in the mid-20th century. I found this piece at an Estate sale in Weiser, ID.
