The "Mutoscope" is a curious, now extinct device from the dawn of the motion picture, originating from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. This contraption functions on the same principle as a flip book, turning its crank causes a rapid flip through a series of images that creates a moving picture. This particular model, produced by the International Mutoscope Corp. in the final years of the mutoscope's era of production, features early modern design and is wrapped in a vivid red and orange felt-like texture. It still includes its original marquee board, advertising a picture titled "Tall, Slim, and Dark", with the image of an attractive young woman, suggesting the material within the viewer to potentially be a bit raunchy, at least by the standards of the 1940's. The plug is unfortunately rusted to an unusable degree, so some maintenance would be required in order to get it operating again, but it would be so cool even just as a showpiece!
