This lot features a vintage 1973 Topps football trading card showcasing legendary Pro Football Hall of Fame linebacker Ted Hendricks of the Baltimore Colts. Nicknamed "The Mad Stork" due to his towering 6'7" frame and immense wingspan, Hendricks is pictured in a classic close-up headshot looking directly forward while wearing his royal blue Colts jersey. The card utilizes the definitive geometric design of the 1973 set, framed by retro pink, yellow, and orange flag ribbons that border his name at the top along with his position and team designation across the bottom. This authentic piece of gridiron history is a stellar addition for vintage sports card collectors, Hall of Fame set builders, or longtime football enthusiasts.
