This lot features a vintage 1978 Topps baseball trading card highlighting the premier arms from the "1977 Earned Run Avg Ldrs" league subset. This multi-player card showcases the dominant left-handed pitchers who paced their respective conferences in ERA during the 1977 season, featuring individual portrait panels for National League leader John Candelaria of the Pittsburgh Pirates (who posted a brilliant 2.34 ERA) alongside American League leader Frank Tanana of the California Angels (who commanded the AL with a stellar 2.54 ERA). Adhering to the clean, definitive design framework of the 1978 Topps set, the front frames the two young southpaws with separate blue-bordered windows under a large, vibrant red title banner against a crisp white background.
