Full to Queen headboard lacquered in high gloss Cloud White by Benjamin Moore and matched using Fine Paints Of Europe . Beautiful detailed fretwork and faux bamboo come together for a classic Chinoiserie chic style . If you plan on picking up the color swatch from Benjamin Moore please swipe some clear gloss nail polish on it so that you may get a better idea of how it looks in high gloss as flat colors don't pick up any light reflection .

All of my pieces are carefully restored. The process includes cleaning, sanding, filling, priming, fine sanding the primer, and many coats of lacquer fine sanded in between coats which is spray-booth applied . The finish is durable, hard and mirror-like. High-quality paint is used. Backs of pieces are never painted as the material used will not coat well unless it is solid wood or a dimensional piece that is intended to be shown . While I try my best to remove all flaws before painting, these are vintage pieces which due to age will always have flaws. No vintage piece is perfect or factory like, due to the slow drying time in between coats and glossiness of the lacquer there will always be minor dust particles that settle in the finish, which are only visible if you are in extremely close contact with the piece . Despite all the prep work and labor there still will be minor flaws to the newly painted surface. Please feel free to ask any questions regarding the piece
