A whimsical and unique American folk art hand painted wooden children's chair. The handmade country chair having sides that rise up to be armrests and are shaped in cat form, conforming, utilizing the cats legs and tail in the chair design. One feline painted white, the other side painted black, both kitten with red ribbon collars and richly painted facial features including whiskers and a smile. Nicely aged patina over the whole, warm and rustic, organically distressed chippy paint finish with unique heavy craquelure, adding antique character, charm and historic depth.

This charming cat chair would be a wonderful addition to a variety of today's contemporary interior styles, from magical whimsy, eclectic gypsy boho, romantic rustic shabby chic, to more traditional colonial, farmhouse modern, or country cottage, it's sure to add a thoughtful touch of quirky, playful, fun and unique style.
