Built with rustic white washed pine and sealed with a varnish finish, this hand-built steamer trunk has upgrades since launching our line of these farm-house style line of trunk. For starters, the fitted beveled edges where the lid meets body act as a built in "dust band" which better seals your precious storage items. The elimination of the lid-stay, replaced by a matching pair of nickel plated stop hinges now allows the lid to fully open, and stay in the position you want. Best of all, this chest boasts a pair of locking front latches, with key included, so that you can safely store your wares. With the same French style vertical lid platform as before, your new trunk is strong and built to last.
