Antique French Bombe Two-Drawer Chest is a handsome example of Louis XV Rococo-style saturated with detail. The bombe (swelled) silhouette is defined by intricate marquetry and veneer patterns, featuring sweeping curves of flora motif and luxurious wood grains. Complemented by gilded bronze ormolu mounts, including figural bust corner applications, escutcheons, and scrolling drawer pulls. Crowning this magnificent chest is a striking, custom-fitted serpentine nero marble with vibrant natural white veining, a chic and modern compliment against the warm wood tones.
