An elegant Louis XV style bombe chest featuring a dramatic serpentine profile, richly figured wood veneer, and sculptural figural ormolu mounts. The chest is topped with a thick shaped marble slab in a dark stone with natural veining.

The case displays classic bombe curves along the front and sides, raised on graceful cabriole legs. The corners are adorned with striking gilt metal mounts depicting female bust figures surrounded by scrolling foliate ornament, adding a strong decorative focal point.

Drawer fronts feature beautifully figured veneer panels framed by molded edges and fitted with decorative metal pulls. The marble top sits securely on the frame and provides a durable surface suitable for use as a commode, console, or accent chest.

This piece works beautifully in traditional interiors but can also add contrast in more modern spaces as a statement piece.

*entry hall
*bedroom
*dining room
*living room accent storage
