This elegant antique Victorian parlor sofa, often referred to as a Rococo Revival settee, dates to the late 19th century and exemplifies the refined craftsmanship and sculptural presence of the period. The sofa features a beautifully carved solid wood frame with flowing serpentine lines, scrolled arms, and finely detailed cresting, all resting on gracefully shaped legs typical of Victorian formal seating. The piece has been custom upholstered in a soft, pale celadon with subtle dotted texture, complemented by coordinating patterned seat cushions and decorative bolster pillows with tassel accents.
Designed originally for formal parlors and sitting rooms, this sofa offers both visual presence and comfortable seating, making it an ideal statement piece for a living room, entry hall, bedroom, or designer-styled space. The combination of antique woodwork and custom upholstery makes this a one-of-a-kind piece not replicable with modern production furniture. The condition is very good except for a small chip out of the back leg and there looks to be a watermark stain across the back rest of the sofa which could be easily covered with accent pillows. The rest of the upholstery is in good condition.

The size is 93"W X 30"D X 41"H X 23.5"SD X 19.5"SH.

Our pieces are vintage, antique, or previously owned furniture and decor. As such, they often show signs of age, use, or character-which we believe adds to their unique charm. We make every effort to describe items accurately and provide clear, detailed photos, but we encourage all buyers to review the images carefully and ask questions prior to purchase if you need further clarification.

Beauty and condition can be subjective, and while we strive to highlight both the strengths and any notable flaws, perfection isn't always guaranteed with older or pre-loved item.
