Artist Len Klikunas paints to modify experienced reality through visual perception. His art is a mix of art and architecture, hovering between painting and sculpture. It employs shizen (ZiRan): the Japanese concept of naturalness, absence of pretense, or artificiality. Material is stretched over a supporting three-dimensional framework, like a tent, and coated with paint.

Klikunas focuses on the larger idea behind his original abstract minimalist artworks. The work is characterized by "mindful artlessness" and simplicity. Understated and subtle, the work doesn't only refer to itself, and it doesn't explain everything. The natural-like radiation that comes from the structure of the materials and color schemes express calmness. The meditative process of the work is achieved through the transformation and subtle layering of geometric shapes.

This multi-dimensional 40-inch square and 3-inch deep post-minimalist artwork is wired and ready to hang. It is created with acrylic and spray paint on canvas stretched over a three-dimensional wooden form. It does not require framing. The artist signs and titles the artwork on the back. Convenient local Los Angeles area delivery. Affordable U.S. and worldwide shipping are available. A Certificate of Authenticity issued by the gallery is included.

Len Klikunas' sculptural minimalist works are represented by Artspace Warehouse Los Angeles as well as Kelly Wearstler Interior Design. They have been exhibited and collected worldwide.
