Description
Here's a one of a kind collection of black and white photos that were taken between 1965 and 1967 by an unknown photographer in the style of Garry Winogrand. The gritty subjects display the hustle and bustle of Midtown Manhattan. From a one eyed pedestrian to the Burlesk Theater on Broadway, to pretzel and garment vendors to a gentleman warming himself next to a trashcan fire, these shots convey the stark reality of New York before it was commercialized. Each is in its original silvered wood frame and each is adhered to black matting. These were kept behind glass, but for the sake of a clear picture, seller temporarily removed them. Will be shipped with glass intact. Dimensions of photos themselves are 8.5" x 6".
