This antique rustic wooden trunk, dating from the late 19th to early 20th century (circa 1880s-1910s), is a primitive handcrafted piece made of solid pine with a lift-top lid (please note: the lid is not attached!) and simple plank construction. The interior shows rich age-darkened wood grain, while the exterior retains its raw, time-worn patina. Its sturdy form and straightforward craftsmanship reflect traditional rural woodworking techniques.

Originally used as a storage chest for blankets, linens, or household goods, this piece now makes an excellent farmhouse accent, coffee table, or functional storage bench. Its authenticity and visible wear give it strong decorative character.
