Vintage Folk Art Henri's Restaurant Paper Mache "Florida Money" Bank, Circa 70s-80s. A piece of Wells, Maine history! The bank is sculpted from hand-painted paper mache with an open mouth and bright red extended tongue that reads "Florida Money." The figure wears an all-white chef's outfit and hat that reads "Henri's." His hands are folded at the rear and he wears bright teal shoes.

Mentioned as "The House That Fine Food Built, Famous for Maine Seafood," Henri's restaurant was a Wells staple.

The grouping includes paper mache figure, a menu from the 70s and original pencil sketch of Henri by a former employee, with a beautiful dedication on the reverse.
