A very good Georgian era English oak mule chest, rich in detail and full of presence. The oak has a fine, time-softened tone, enhanced by the addition of beautiful brass hardware and delicate inlay details that lend refinement to its sturdy form.

The chest is fitted with cast iron step hinges and rests on scrolled bracket feet, giving it both strength and elegance. Inside, a candle box remains, a practical feature of the period, offering a glimpse into its original domestic use.

Sturdy and well built, this chest combines utility with decorative appeal, its form both substantial and graceful.

Hand sourced in England and imported with care, it is a fine example of Georgian craftsmanship-functional, enduring, and handsome from every angle.
