Description

One of a series of views of a wild pheasant who came around for food everyday with the feral guinea hens. He had a fascinating personality, and after two days of watching and seeing no danger at the feeding station, declared himself First In All Things -- hence the name, with his magnificent coat.

Watercolor on panel with an oil over-glaze for permanence.
