Rare Aldo Londi for Bitossi clay sculpture entitled "Horseback Riders". Produced in Italy in the 1960s and sold at luxury department store J Magnin. Formed of clay using a scavo technique, a departure from the vibrant colors Bitossi is known for. This piece features a terracotta color with rustic markings of worn black, mainly around the footing. Scavo pieces are rarer and sought after by collectors. Unmarked.
