A custom walnut shadow box featuring a natural nautilus shell presented against deep black velvet. The hand-built composition reflects a study in balance, restraint, and material integrity; walnut's dense grain providing a rich counterpoint to the shell's luminous, spiraling form. A nearly invisible mount allows the shell to appear suspended, emphasizing its geometry and sculptural presence within the deep, recessed frame.

Designed for versatility, the piece can rest on a tabletop or hang flush to the wall, functioning as both object and artwork. Its minimal vocabulary highlights the dialogue between natural material and meticulous craftsmanship. Luxurious yet understated, it would integrate seamlessly within a modern interior, gallery wall, or architectural setting; an elevated meditation on form, texture, and quiet elegance.
