Original art for parrot and bird lovers! "In Perch of Excellence" is a gorgeous painting of a yellow ring necked parakeet done in a "Modern Chinoiserie" style. The parakeet's feathers are intricately painted with pretty chinoiserie details. Yellow ring necked parakeets are also known as parrots. These parakeets have super slender long tails, almost half of their total length! The tiny lines that detail this yellow ring necked parakeet can only truly be appreciated in person and up close!

"In Perch of Excellence" has a soft mottled blue background with crisp white stars. The fun colors and pattern are guaranteed to make you smile each time you look at it in your home or office.

Artist Allison Cosmos also has a fondness for rare, endangered and colorful birds.
