Matched pair of elaborately detailed Asian-inspired figural statues depicting a traditionally dressed woman holding a fan and vessel and a bearded man wearing a woven hat. Both figures are surrounded by pheasant-like birds, flowing garments and pierced botanical elements, raised on coordinating ornamental bases. Molded resin or composite with a warm faux-ivory finish and dark antiqued detailing. Each measures approximately 14½ inches high. The undersides are unmarked; maker, country of origin and exact age remain unconfirmed. Estate curated.
