A Pair Vintage English Export Tea Caddy Hand-Painted Chinoiserie Figurines Table Lamp

Description

Pair of vintage British export tea caddy hand-painted chinoiserie figurine lamps.
This pair of table lamps is a typical European chinoiserie art form from the 17th to 18th centuries. No matter where it is placed indoors, it is a work of art. Each piece is hand-painted by the artist. Chinoiserie is also translated as "Chinese style", a proper term in art history. This style originated in the 17th century and became an international fashion, and became popular in Europe in the 18th century. They're back again today, with their wonderful original chinoiserie, and will be a striking room style-maker. Perfect for an entry foyer, living room, or bedroom.
