Elegant Pair of English Regency Style Carved and Gilt Wall Mirrors. Mirrors feature dramatic hand-carved drapery swag pediments that evoke the look of theatrical curtains cascading over a rod. The sculptural tops are carved with layered folds and highlighted with warm gilding. Each mirror has a tall, rectangular form framed in wood. The draped swag motif creates a sense of movement and classical elegance. These mirrors combine architectural elegance, sculptural carving, and classical English inspiration, ideal for creating a refined focal point in a well designed interior.
In modern interiors they are perfect flanking a fireplace mantle, above nightstands for a dramatic look, in an entryway as statement pieces on either side of a console, or as accents in any room to reflect light and expand visual space.
