Description
A vintage lithograph reproduction of the Red-capped Parakeet (Purpureicephalus spurius) originally illustrated by 19th-century ornithological artists John and Elizabeth Gould, prolific British naturalists who produced hand-colored lithographs of exotic birds in the 1800s. These colorful prints feature delicately drawn pine cones cascading around the birds, each having the distinct red caps, green backs, blue chests, and long tails. Intact in its original espresso-brown oval wood frame, protected behind glass. Please note that a few images show faint, shadowy reflections in the glass, but the artwork itself is flawless.
