Robert Kipniss (American, b. 1931), The Small Field. Limited-edition lithograph on paper depicting a quiet rural landscape with a small farmhouse surrounded by fields and tall, densely rendered trees. Executed in Kipniss's characteristic restrained monochromatic palette, the composition creates a contemplative, atmospheric sense of solitude through subtle tonal gradations and simplified natural forms. Signed "Kipniss" in pencil at lower right and numbered 23/175 in pencil at lower left, from an edition of 175. The title "The Small Field" is also inscribed on the reverse of the frame.
