Original watercolor on paper by Henry Emil Salloch, also known as Heinz Emil
Salloch, the German-born American artist and graphic designer who emigrated to the United
States in 1937. This unframed work depicts a semi expressionist landscape focusing on a small group of trees under a churning, dramatic sky. Signed at the bottom left and dated 1963.
The sheet measures approximately 28'' X 14''. Condition is vintage and unrestored, with
overall good presentation. Sold unframed.
A strong example of Salloch's mid-century landscape work, with fluid ink line and transparent
watercolor washes.
