Peter Keil is a German artist that focuses primarily on abstract expressionism. Keil painted with some of the greats including Joan Miro, Pablo Picasso and Andy Warhol, to name a few. This is a beautiful painting featuring Keil's iconic flowers in a vase. The pink and pops of color in the flowers make this piece especially gorgeous. It is signed and dated "P. Keil '72" in the lower right corner and executed with acrylic on board and framed. The art is in good condition with typical signs of age and wear. The frame is also in good condition with typical signs of age and wear, with minor stains on the fabric portion, as you can see in the photos. This piece was purchased directly from the Keil family, acting on behalf of Peter.
