The body is made of translucent chicken-fat yellow glass, shaped as a slender straight cylinder with a small mouth and narrow neck. It is fitted with a copper twisted-wire rim and a lid topped with a round rose quartz knob. The exterior is decorated with enamel paintings of flowers and birds: two golden pheasants with gorgeous feathers perch on a twisted old branch, accompanied by magnolia flowers, rocks and wild flowers. The composition is balanced, the colors are rich and vivid, and the brushwork is delicate, reflecting the refined court aesthetic. The base bears the red mark ??Gu Yue Xuan??. Glass-body enamel snuff bottles of the Qianlong period were finely made with bright colors. This example is well preserved and exquisitely painted, with notable craft value and collectibility.
