It is fitted with a pink glass stopper with copper rim. Low relief carving decorates both sides. One side depicts butterflies hovering among blossoms with twisting branches; the reverse side is carved with narcissus and orchid. The surface carries rich, mellow patina with warm honey-yellow tone and natural texture. The carving lines are fluid and well-composed, vividly showing the vitality of plants. It is a fine Qing carved bone snuff bottle with both practical and decorative value.
