The bottle has a flat rectangular body, with carved elephant-head ring handles on both sides, symbolizing peace and prosperity. The agate is translucent, with naturally flowing banded veins interlaced in white, pale yellow and light brown. The mouth is mounted with copper rim, topped with a bright red glass stopper. The oval foot is neatly finished. The hollowing technique is refined with thin and even wall. The surface bears soft patina and age marks. With exquisite carving and elegant shape, it is a fine example of Qing snuff bottle for display and collection.
