The bottle body is made of transparent glass overlaid with green glass for relief carving, in a full pear shape with small mouth, narrow neck and flat foot. Two sides are carved with different motifs: one side depicts flowers, leaves, mantis and butterfly; the other side shows two flying wild geese amid auspicious clouds. The carving is vivid with distinct layers. The mouth is fitted with twisted copper rim, topped with a sapphire-blue glass stopper with bone spoon inside. The glass is crystal clear, the green overlay bright and smooth, with soft patina. It is a fine overlay glass snuff bottle from Qing Dynasty, exquisite in craftsmanship and high in collection value.
