It adopts straight cylindrical shape. The outer wall is covered with alum-red glaze, with gilded decoration on top and bottom rims. Golden painted dragon and cloud patterns wind around the surface; the dragon scales and whiskers are delicately rendered with powerful momentum. The inner cavity is glazed with smooth white glaze and fine porcelain body. A rectangular gilded frame bears the regular script mark ??Yongzheng Nian Zhi??. Originally an archery accessory for Manchu nobles, the archer??s ring later evolved into a scholarly ornament. This piece features exquisite craftsmanship and luxurious colour scheme, representing imperial style with high collection value.
