The outer wall is on sapphire blue glaze ground, painted with iron-red double dragons chasing the flaming pearl amid pink auspicious clouds. Green seawater and cliff patterns decorate the lower section. Dragon scales and whiskers are finely rendered with bright colours and full composition. This is an imperial archer??s ring for appreciation in Qing court. The enamel is glossy, painting exquisite and gilding luxurious.
