This piece is pure nostalgic storytelling. Titled "An Old Wood Cut," this 1923 Cream of Wheat Company advertising print captures a charming woodland scene - an older gentleman in sporting attire and top hat pauses beside a tree while his loyal dog looks up attentively. A Cream of Wheat advertisement poster is pinned to the trunk, blending illustration and brand in that classic early-20th-century way.

The artwork was created for the Cream of Wheat Company and reflects the warm, narrative style used in their vintage advertising campaigns. These prints were meant to feel timeless and homespun, and this one still delivers that cozy, heritage appeal nearly a century later. The green mat and wood-grain frame suit the era beautifully, giving it a library, den, or lodge feel.

Measures approximately 13" wide, 16.5" tall, and .75" deep.
