Description

Did Sigmund Freud rest his foot on this little object of art? Only his cobbler knows for sure. Charming decorative item of quarter sawn oak, especially apt for a Stickley Craftsman Home or other Arts & Crafts style house. This shoe store foot rest -- or shoe valet for use at home -- was made by the artisans of the firm of J. Matauschek in Vienna in a very 1920s Viennese style.
