The exterior is painted with famille?rose nine?peach motif for longevity celebration. Plump peaches are rendered in soft pink hues together with luxuriant leaves and gnarled branches in layered enamels. Nine peaches stand for longevity and good fortune. The base bears six?character blue?and?white seal script mark ??Da Qing Qian Long Nian Zhi??. Finely painted and elegantly shaped, it is a classic imperial display porcelain of Qianlong reign.
