The deep green ground is carved with honeycomb brocade texture, overlaid with moulded polychrome floral roundels of varied colours and layered petals. The lower body is decorated with famille?rose key?fret and stylized lotus?petal borders. Interior and base are covered with turquoise?green glaze, bearing incised and gilded iron?red six?character square seal mark ??Da Qing Qian Long Nian Zhi??. Floral roundel is a classic Qianlong decorative motif. Combining carved ground, moulding, famille?rose enamels and gilding, it is an ornate imperial storage and display vessel.
