A pair of iron?red gilded beast?head handles are moulded on upper shoulders. The white?glazed surface is fully decorated with famille?rose chrysanthemums in yellow, pink, purple and blue hues. Layers of petals and luxuriant leaves are delicately outlined and coloured. Chrysanthemum symbolizes nobility and longevity. Enamel application is smooth and rich, dense decoration remains well?organized. The white?glazed base bears six?character blue?and?white seal mark ??Da Qing Qian Long Nian Zhi??. Distinctive form and sumptuous painting, a fine imperial decorative vessel.
