Height:40cm(15.75in), Diameter:28cm(11.02in)This is a Yongzheng?period famille?rose elephant?eared zun vase with incised?ground ??hundred?birds?worship?the?phoenix?? motif. It has flared mouth, contracted neck, broad?shouldered swelling body and ring foot. Two iron?red gilded elephant?head handles attach to the neck. The neck is decorated on yellow incised ground with scrolling lotus, coloured plantain?leaf panels and ??Fu?? character cartouches. The main body presents a continuous scene of phoenix surrounded by numerous birds amid luxuriant trees, rocks and blossoms. Multiple gilded brocade?pattern borders frame rim, shoulder and foot. The base is turquoise?green glazed with blue?enamel square regular?script mark ??Yong Zheng Nian Zhi??. Combining incised ground, gilding and heavy?bodied famille?rose painting, it features meticulous drawing and sumptuous palette as a grand imperial hall?display porcelain of Yongzheng reign
