Description
D:3.7cmWeight:17gThis coin was minted during the reign of Li Jing, the second ruler of the Southern Tang Dynasty (Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period) in 959 AD. The obverse bears the characters "Yong Tong Quan Huo" read top-bottom-right-left, while the reverse is plain. It was a large denomination coin issued to address financial difficulties, with a stated value of 10 ordinary Kaiyuan Tongbao coins. Due to its short production period, it is rare and highly prized among Five Dynasties coinage.
