D:3.9cm (1.54in) Weight:27g (0.06lb)This silver coin was minted in the 3rd year of the Republic of China (1914) as the official national currency by the Beiyang government. The obverse features Yuan Shih-kai's profile with the engraver's signature "L. Giorgi" on the right. The reverse displays a wreath design with the character "??". Produced only in small quantities as a pattern coin, it is extremely rare and one of the most prestigious rarities among Republican-era machine-struck coins.
