Each facet has silver inlaid ground carved with Chinese numerals (One to Twelve), outlined by gold wire inlay, partial gilded dot ornaments. The dodecagonal shape matches the ancient twelve-stake gambling game, antique implements for imperial and literati divination & board games from Qin-Han to medieval periods, extremely rare surviving matched pair.
