It served as the original master die for casting circulating large-denomination coins. The obverse features the four characters "Xianfeng Yuanbao" in regular script, while the reverse bears the Manchu mint mark "Baoquan", the Chinese characters "Dang Bai" (meaning "100 cash"), and star and crescent symbols. With sharp, deep strokes and clear carving traces, it is an outstanding example of Qing Dynasty coin-casting technology and a highly prized rarity in Chinese numismatics.
