It served as the original master die for casting circulating large-denomination coins. The obverse features the four characters "Xianfeng Tongbao" in regular script, while the reverse bears the Manchu mint mark "Baofu" and the Chinese characters "Wushi" (meaning "50 cash"). With sharp, deep strokes and clear carving traces, it is an outstanding example of Qing Dynasty coin-casting technology in Fujian and a prized rarity in Chinese numismatics.
