Modelled as a bundle of stacked scrolls bound together by iron?red gilt?painted knotted ribbon with naturalistic folds. Each tube is glazed in varied tones of blue, yellow, green, pink and turquoise, subtly incised with scrolling grass and lotus patterns accented by gilding. Imitation?object porcelain represents ingenious achievement of Qing imperial kiln. Transforming scholarly scroll?bundle motif into ceramic form, it demonstrates exceptional moulding and enamelling skill, serving as an elegant scholar?studio display piece.This is an imperial scholar?studio treasure of Qianlong era. Composed of multiple scroll?shaped tubes clustered together, each tube is covered in varied coloured grounds with incised scroll?pattern ground, some subtly engraved with lotus motifs. Gilded lines imitate binding ribbons of ancient books. A modelled iron?red gilded silk?style sash with full decorative knot wraps around the whole group, vividly simulating bundled antique scrolls. The base is finished with turquoise?green glaze, bearing iron?red seal?script ??Qian Long Nian Zhi?? mark.
