Height:34cm(13.39in), Diameter:18cm(7.09in)Classic Yuan?dynasty meiping form with original knob?topped cover, broad shoulders tapering smoothly toward base, presenting a powerful imposing silhouette. The whole body is covered in rich deep sacrificial?blue glaze with lustrous dense texture. Executed in reserved?white carved technique: a vigorous white dragon surges across the body, with dynamic horns, flowing whiskers, winding among carved cloud scrolls. The cover is also decorated with reserved?white cloud patterns. Striking contrast between deep?blue ground and bright?white dragon conveys the grand aesthetic of Yuan imperial porcelain. Unglazed sandy base with robust body fabric, bears an old collection label. Blue?ground reserved?white dragon meiping is extremely rare, representing a high?grade Yuan?dynasty display vessel.
