Height:26cm(10.24in), Diameter:11cm(4.33in)A magnificent matched pair of imperial?style display vases in classic bangchui ping form, with flared mouth, long straight neck, broad shoulder and tall cylindrical body. The entire surface is covered in lustrous rich gilding. Dynamic dragons are painted in iron?red, with powerful sinuous bodies amidst swirling clouds, above seawater and cliff motifs at the lower body. The neck is decorated with auspicious cloud and shou?character emblems. Deep saturated iron?red pigment contrasts brilliantly against the golden ground, conveying grand imperial opulence. Gilded base bears iron?red seal?script mark ??Qian Long Nian Zhi??. Surviving as an intact pair, they represent high?grade Qing decorative porcelain.
