Rim and foot are decorated with iron?red geometric key?fret borders. Four sides are painted with literati?themed scenes: scholars conversing under moon, bamboo?rock scenery, hermit with boy attendant, and autumn mountain travelling landscape. Each panel is accompanied by poetic inscriptions and artist seals, integrating poetry, painting and seal?cutting in typical Republic?era new famille?rose scholar aesthetic. Fine brushwork renders vivid figures and layered landscapes with soft elegant tones. Base bears iron?red seal mark ??Yue Yuan Ming Ri??. Fully preserved pair, fine Republic?period decorative porcelain.
